Product overview
Kaigong’s small-diameter shield tunnelling machines are designed for shallow-buried urban tunnel projects where compact alignment control, reliable ground adaptation and efficient construction performance are required. The product range covers both earth pressure balance shield machines and slurry balance shield machines, supporting different geological and groundwater conditions.
The machines are suitable for small tunnel construction in municipal drainage, heating, gas, power, communication, lighting and other urban utility sectors. With high equipment configuration, compact turning capability, strong gradeability and efficient tunnelling performance, the machines can be applied in soft soil, sand, sandy gravel, rock and mixed ground conditions.
Representative machine configurations include a Φ4240mm small EPB shield machine and a Φ5080mm small slurry shield machine, providing project-specific options for different ground conditions, tunnel diameters and construction requirements.
